Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation for the Nephrologist: A comprehensive program for physicians seeking ARDMS' Registered Physician in Vascular Ultrasound (RPVI) Credential or ASDIN Renal Ultrasonography Certification

This intensive 2.5-day program trains physicians in renal and vascular sonography – essential tools for the accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of kidney disease. Participants will gain experience through extensive hands-on sessions and will learn how to integrate sonography in their practice with discussion of successful strategies for equipment, coding, reporting, records, quality assurance and data storage. This course satisfies CME requirements for ARDMS' RPVI credential and helps prepare participants for ASDIN's certification. No prior experience is required.

Navid Q. Saigal, MD, FACP, RPVI
Navid Saigal, MD is the President of Renal Associates, PA, a nephrology practice in San Antonio and South Texas. Dr. Saigal has over 10 years experience in renal and vascular ultrasound interpretation and has trained renal fellows and nephrologists in renal ultrasonography. He is certified by the ASDIN for Renal Ultrasonography and ARDMS for Vascular Interpretation and has presented at various local and national medical society meetings on topics including renal imaging.

R. Patrick DeMuth, ThM, RVT, FSVU
Patrick DeMuth has over fourteen years experience in vascular ultrasound and has held industry leadership positions in organizations such as the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission and Society of Vascular Ultrasound. Patrick is NAVIX's Regional Clinical Director and Instructor of NAVIX's Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation Preceptorship.
