Since 2009, NAVIX has been providing fellows and practicing physicians everything they need to know for vascular ultrasound interpretation and to successfully sit for the APCA (formerly ARDMS) Physician in Vascular Interpretation (PVI) exam. Last year, NAVIX provided more than150 cardiology fellows with the essential knowledge and skills in the interpretation of noninvasive vascular diagnostic studies. NAVIX's Preceptorship in Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation is more than an RPVI review course. NAVIX Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation Preceptorship
NAVIX’s Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation Preceptorship focuses on the interpretation of vascular studies and case analysis of carotid duplex ultrasound, transcranial Doppler, peripheral arterial physiologic testing, peripheral arterial duplex ultrasound, venous duplex ultrasound and visceral vascular duplex ultrasound. Participants gain interpretation experience for up to 500 vascular ultrasound examinations presenting with diverse pathologies seen in a dedicated noninvasive vascular diagnostic laboratory.
